FAQs

The questions we hear most.

Can't find your answer here? Give us a call — we're happy to talk it through.

No. Long-term residents stay in situ — that's the whole point of Willows. There is no 28-day relocation rule for our long-term pitches.

Yes. We welcome tradespeople and there are no height restrictions on vehicles. The site is gated and secure, so your van is safe here.

No, there is no WiFi at Willows. If you need to work remotely you'll need your own mobile data. We're upfront about this so it's not a surprise.

No — we no longer take tents or camping of any kind. Willows is for touring caravans, motorhomes and campervans only, and we mainly cater for long-term guests rather than short stays.

Most of it doesn't. The touring caravans, private rooms, smaller one-bed apartments and the modern studio all share the site's communal mains toilet and shower block, a bit like a holiday park. The larger one-bed apartments, the modern one-bed and the large two-bed log cabin do have a private shower room.

Cats are welcome. Dogs are at the owner's discretion — please have a chat with us first.

Bank transfer only. We do not accept debit or credit cards, and there is no online payment system — this keeps things simple and personal.

Not directly. The nearest bus is roughly 1–3 miles away and the nearest tube (Loughton, Central Line) is about 3 miles. Overground trains are also 3 miles away at Chingford, with easy access to Walthamstow Central buses and trains. A car or bike is effectively required to reach the site itself.

Yes, and we encourage it. Viewings are strictly by appointment. Please give us a call first and we'll talk you through everything and arrange a time to show you around.

No open fires or wood fires anywhere on site. Charcoal BBQs only, please.
